Is cyberspace a real place? How do you know? We live in comfortable, familiar homes with rules and boundaries, but as soon as you go online you are transported to a different location in terms of our awareness, emotions, responses, behaviour, and sense of time. Every screen you look at is designed to keep you online as long as possible. How does persuasive design make sure our kids are on social media and gaming sites as long as possible? This webinar will look at the fact that we were never designed to live in cyberspace and the many ways, including the use of colour, that are used to keep us addicted to screens.
